The VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh brought together 16 of the world’s finest teams from regions across North America, EMEA, South America, Asia-Pacific, and China. Over six days, players battled for a share of a massive USD 1,250,000 prize pool and valuable EWC Club Points, with Team Heretics ultimately lifting the trophy in a dramatic 3-2 Grand Final over Fnatic.

Tournament Format

Group Stage (July 8-10, 2025)

  • Four groups of four teams each (GSL/double elimination format)
  • Opening matches: Best-of-One (Bo1)
  • All other matches: Best-of-Three (Bo3)
  • Top two from each group advanced to the playoffs

Playoffs (July 11-13, 2025)

  • Single-elimination bracket with eight teams

Team Heretics was able to win the 500000 USD prize pool for the 1st place against the final match against Fnatic in the Valorant Esports World Cup 2025. With that ended Fnatic was in 2nd place and the Gen G. in the third place of the Valorant EWC 2025 Tournament.
